Applesauce

3-4 lbs apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
3-4 t. lemon juice
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 c. brown sugar
about 1/4 c. white sugar
1 c. water
1/2 t. salt

Put all ingredients into a large pot. Cover. Bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat. Mash with potato masher. Serve hot or cold.
